In recent months, Emily Close has given much of her free time to Open Doors in Norwalk.
“[I wanted to do] something for my community that is a better use of my time than normally would be,” she said.
Close decided to organize a fundraiser for April 28 at Blind Rhino in Norwalk where there will be raffles and different ways to donate.
“So, 100% of the proceeds are going to go to Open Doors shelter here in Norwalk, everything donated,” Close said.
The fundraiser will be held on Friday April 28 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Blind Rhino in South Norwalk.
