Street address is 55 Chestnut Street, Norwalk, CT 06854 but please use the building’s side entrance on Merritt Place.
Thank you for helping to fill the racks! Please respect the dignity of our clients and donate only items you would be comfortable giving to a friend or family member.
Please deliver clean, ready-to-wear, seasonal clothing in clear labeled plastic bags or bins (4 bags max per donor). Sorting clothing by gender and size is always appreciated!

How Your Donations Help
Open Doors’ community closet is a resource that provides quality wardrobes for people dealing with poverty and homelessness here in our community. We serve over 1,500 individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet.
When you donate clothing that you would be proud to wear, you give your neighbors the opportunity to take pride in their appearance. Good shoes make a world of difference to someone whose primary form of transportation is walking.
