Make a difference by donating food, clothing, or other essential items for our neighbors in need!

Community Closet donations: Everyone has given so generously that JANUARY’S DONATION DROPOFF DAY IS CANCELLED!
The next donation dropoff day is (tentatively) Tuesday, February 22.
Last Tuesday of each month, 1-3pm at Open Doors’ Smilow Life Center, side entrance on Merritt Place, Norwalk, CT 06854.

Open Doors’ community closet is a resource that provides quality wardrobes and household essentials for people dealing with poverty here in our community. Please respect the dignity of our clients and donate only items you would be comfortable giving to a friend or family member.

Food donations: Grocery pantry donations, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-noon. Bring nonperishable items or fresh fruits and vegetables to our new grocery pantry at Open Doors’ Smilow Life Center, side entrance on Merritt Place, Norwalk, CT 06854 or coordinate with us for a weekend delivery or a large donation.

Please reach out to us if you’d like to sponsor a prepared meal! Open Doors serves hot meals every day of the week to anyone who needs help with food.
